We’re looking for a QA Engineer who notices every little detail, never stays silent about bugs, and is willing to keep pushing the team until everything is just right.
We’ve recently completed a full migration of our platform from WordPress to a custom stack (NestJS + Next.js). Your mission will be to stabilize the platform after the migration and become the quality gatekeeper for every new release. We need someone who can quickly dive into the product, understand it inside and out, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- 3+ years of experience in web application testing.
- At least 1 year of experience writing automated tests in Python or JavaScript using modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Solid SQL skills—you can independently query the database to verify that data has been stored correctly.
- Experience with Pixel-Perfect UI testing against Figma designs.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including cross-platform, functional, regression, smoke, cross-browser, and UI/UX testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and hands-on experience with Postman and Swagger.
- Experience testing payment systems and webhook processing.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including validation of page titles, sitemaps, and canonical tags.
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking and a business-oriented mindset with the ability to deeply understand the product and its business goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify even the smallest issues.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest improvements rather than simply identify problems.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing products after large-scale platform migrations—you know where migration-related issues typically appear.
- Experience with load testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
- Experience working with Cloudflare and a solid understanding of caching mechanisms.
- Data Integrity Testing (Manual): Verify data integrity after migration (content, metadata, redirects, and SEO parameters) and ensure new releases do not introduce data degradation.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of critical business logic and newly developed features.
- API Testing: Test REST APIs (NestJS) using Postman or automated test scripts.
- Regression Testing: Set up automated regression testing and perform manual regression testing for complex scenarios when necessary.
- Test Automation: Develop end-to-end (E2E) tests for critical user journeys, including OAuth 2.0 authentication, payment flows, and search functionality.
- ISR & Cache Testing: Validate Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) behavior to ensure frontend content updates correctly after changes are made in the admin panel.
- Performance Testing: Perform basic load and performance testing, including validation of the system's ability to switch between Master and Read Replica databases.
- Localization Testing: Verify multilingual functionality powered by Tolgee.io.
- Admin Panel Testing: Test content management workflows by manually creating and editing content through the admin panels to reproduce edge cases and uncover non-obvious bugs.
- Pixel-Perfect Testing: Validate the implementation of UI components against Figma designs.
- AI Platform Testing: Test AI-powered workflows and generative pipelines to ensure they function correctly and reliably.
- Documentation: Document bugs with clear reproduction steps, create and manage Jira tickets, and contribute to product documentation when needed.
