We are looking for a Domain Specialist to join the system administrators team to work with domains, registrations, DNS/NS, Cloudflare accounts, and support SEO teams.The main task of this role is to ensure a stable and controlled process of working with domains: from transferring domains for registration to updating statuses, deploying keys, changing NS, and resolving operational issues with partner companies, SEO, Abuse, and Admin teams.
This role is suitable for someone attentive to detail, comfortable with spreadsheets, able to handle multitasking, and ready to quickly dive into domain processes.
- Confident experience with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Understanding of basic domain principles, DNS, NS records.
- Basic knowledge of Cloudflare.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Ability to quickly check, update, and reconcile data in spreadsheets.
- Ability to follow instructions, checklists, and regulations.
- Basic technical literacy.
- Ability to communicate with different teams: SEO, Admin, Abuse, external contractors.
- Responsibility, systematic approach, accuracy in work.
- Readiness to handle urgent requests and prioritize tasks.
- Keep domain registration information up to date in the main spreadsheet.
- Check domains that remain “in progress” for too long.
- Update domain statuses if information is not pulled automatically.
- Transfer domains for registration via the partner company’s spreadsheet.
- Verify correctness of mandatory fields: Date, Domain, FIN Project, Geo.
- Process requests from SEO teams in Slack, Jira, and direct messages.
- Assign statuses for problematic domains: blocking, verification, non‑renewal, other issues.
- Work with ready Cloudflare keys and NS for domains.
- Change NS servers at registrars.
- Check NS propagation after changes.
- Escalate problematic cases to Boosta, Abuse, or Admin teams.
- Maintain order in spreadsheets and data relevance.
- Communicate with SEO teams regarding registration statuses, keys, blocks, transfers, and other domain issues.
- Handle urgent domain requests within agreed priorities.
